The Making of a Gentleman

The Making of a Gentleman - Shana Galen In some ways this book was much better than The Making of a Duchess, but in some ways it wasn't as great. I loved the overall story with Armand and his past. Little by little it was revealed what happened to him to make him the way he was. Also, all of it was unexpected! This was a contrast to the first book, which I felt I figured out all of the mysteries before the book said anything.

The connection between Armand and Felicity though wasn't convincing. Most of the time all they talked about was admiring physical attributes of each other. It didn't talk too much about how they loved each other's personalities. It did get a little more convincing in the end, and that's what saved it for me.

Lastly, I can't wait to read the next book to see if the family all finds each other again! And from that statement it seems to me that while the romance hasn't been the most amazing I've ever read, the supporting plot has truly been phenomenal!
