The Making of a Duchess

The Making of a Duchess - Shana Galen This book was very good. I loved the french language and the history behind it. I liked the realistic way that Sarah acted in response to the job that was thrust upon her. I like how she grew as a character. As for Julien, I liked that he grew as well. I loved how determined he was to never give up on his family. The only two set backs were that I didn't really feel the love between Sarah and Julien all that much. It was like first they were indifferent and awkward and lustful for each other. And then the next minute they were loving each other. Also, some of the epiphanies that were "discovered" at the end of the book were pretty predictable at the beginning. The book was very mysterious though and it made me want to read the next:)
